Virtual Paintout

I submitted my first painting to the Virtual Paintout blog. I had a great time surfing the google street maps to find an interesting subject. After hours of searching the streets of Hong Kong, I found this man sweeping the street early in the morning.

This painting is my second attempt of the scene because I completely messed up the perspective of my first attempt. I realized after I submitted the photo that there were a couple of things I would have changed a bit. Too late now since it's already on the Virtual Paintout blog. Oh well. Next time I'll wait a day or two before submitting. I'll also start much earlier in the month. I can hardly wait to find out the location for August.
